Licensing, Trust & Refunds
We make audio software and would rather spend our time improving it than policing the people who bought it.
Our approach to copy protection
Our plugins do not use dongles, online activation, hardware locks or anything that stops working when you change computer or lose your internet connection. You buy it, you download it, and you can install it on the machines you use to make music.
We know anything can be copied, and that heavy-handed protection mostly punishes honest customers. So we work on trust and fairness: we trust you to use the software on your own machines and not to pass it around, and in return we promise to keep it simple, keep it working and keep supporting it. Buying it is what pays for the next update.
Refunds
If something does not work, please talk to us first. Most problems turn out to be quick to fix, and we would much rather solve it than lose you as a customer.
To help us find the cause, and before we can agree a refund for a fault, please send:
- a screenshot or short screen recording showing the error or the behaviour that is wrong;
- the plugin version and format (VST3, AU...), your DAW and its version, and your operating system;
- your order number, or the email address you bought with.
Reply to our email with the files attached or a link to them. Once we can see the problem we will either fix it, send a corrected version, or refund you.
