The Asylum Presents: Boards of Audio - Full Version (virtual instrument plugin)

Boards of Audio Full Version - virtual instrument plugin.

An expressive synthesizer for drifting chords, dusty keys, soft pulses and evolving textures. Boards of Audio combines organic synthesis with tape-inspired character, bringing warmth, atmosphere and subtle instability to your music.

Warmth, wear and movement.

Soft pulses, drifting chords, dusty keys and textures that seem to have a history. The Asylum Boards of Audio is a synthesizer for music with warmth, atmosphere and a little uncertainty.
Complete combines organic synthesis with tape-inspired wear, noise and space. Build a sound from multiple sources, shape its character, then give it movement: a chord that slowly changes colour, a note that opens into an echo, or a texture that shifts as you play.

The Behaviour Matrix lets you create editable curves and event patterns that respond to notes, releases and performance gestures. Four assignable macros and eight performance pads put those changes under your hands, from subtle tonal movement to a sudden burst of tape damage.

Start with 108 native factory presets, including dedicated Synth and Movement categories, or revisit the 20 Original programmes from the Free Edition. Explore the procedural Environment layer or import your own recordings to bring another place into the sound.

Filtering, warmth and saturation, ensemble, Magnetic Memory delay, Isolation rooms and compression let you shape both the detail and the atmosphere.

For ambient pieces, electronic tracks, film cues, or the moment a familiar chord needs to feel different.
